Pat's Run, Year Two!

Another Pat's Run has come and gone. This was our second year, including Hudson's, but his first year outside the womb. There were 20,000 people! This is my excuse for why I did so crappy. It's really hard to maneuver a jogging stroller when there are slow people all around you. I should have taken them out with it. ha I guess I did okay considering I had a baby three months ago. Hudson did great in the stroller. He slept most of the time. My final time was 1:00:45. That is just sad. Last year I did it in 48:00. My youngest brother Isaac beat us all with 33:59! Good job little buddy! We should have made him push Hudson. Jacob finished in 37:01. It was still fun, even if I didn't meet my goal from last year(40minutes, ha ha ha!). Next year will be my best year yet.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter down in Tucson. On Saturday, we got Hudson's pictures taken by the same woman who took our wedding pictures. She also took our family pictures. Can you tell that we really, really like her? He did pretty good. He was ready for a nap so he was sort of grouchy but we got some good shots. He looks even chubbier in pictures! ha ha On Easter day, I definitely ate too much food. There was just so many good things, I had to try them all! This didn't go well with my Hawaii countdown, but it's only one weekend. And it was definitely worth it. I am excited for next year when Hudson can hunt for eggs. Holidays are much more fun when you are or have a child.

Countdown to Hawaii

We are going to Hawaii with my family from May 22nd-29th. It just hit me that that isn't so far away and I decided I should try to actually be in shape. Today is day three of me attempting to work out and let me just say, it is kicking my butt. It's been a year since I have worked out at all and I can sure tell. I feel like my abs are made of jello! I blame Hudson for that. I plan on spending a lot of my time on the beach so hopefully this working out makes a difference. 6 weeks to go! Wish me luck.

My Baby Boy is Three Months Old!

I can never say this enough but boy, does time fly by! Hudson is already three months old. He is turning into quite the little character. If he wants something, he yells for me. This should be fun when he is older. He is super active and can't stand to hold still. Also something to look forward to when he can walk. He smiles and laughs. I love when I go get him in the morning how he is so happy to see me. He can hold his head up when he's on his stomach, but he won't do it very often because he doesn't like to be on his stomach. He is quite stubborn. I wonder where he gets that from? ;) He always stares at my food when I eat which leads me to believe he can't wait to eat some real food! He especially stares at my desserts. I ate a lot of them when he was in the womb so it makes sense. Here are some more pictures of the little chubbers and a video. Please ignore my obnoxious voice in the background.

April Fools!

I was trying to think of something funny to post for April Fool's Day but I can never think of anything! It's hard to top the fake spilled milk gag of '92 that I pulled on my 1st grade teacher. That was classic. Instead, I figured I'd just post some more pictures of my big little munchkin!
